Target Audience: Pharmacists
1. Discuss the 2018-19 influenza season, including vaccine efficacy and immunization rates for special
populations.
2. Describe vaccine product and recommendation changes for the upcoming 2019-20 influenza season.
3. Summarize important ACIP immunization recommendation changes from 2018.
4. Identify and discuss recent immunization schedule changes for adults and children in the United
States.
5. List promising new vaccines in the development pipeline.

The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council
for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Upon successful
completion of these continuing education activities, seminar registrants will have continuing
pharmacy education credit posted to their MyCPE Monitor (www.mycpemonitor.net) within 60
days of the program date. This meeting has been accredited for up to 4 contact hours (0.4
CEU) for pharmacists by the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, Division of
Pharmacy Professional Development.

CE credit claiming will occur electronically. Participants will need an NABP e-profile number from the National
Association of Boards of Pharmacy to receive CE credit. Participants should provide these numbers upon signing in
and when completing post-presentation evaluations.
